The Role

As an Associate System Engineer at BDA Tech, you will support the deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting of systems that keep our operations running smoothly. This remote role is ideal for early-career professionals who are eager to build a strong foundation in system support, infrastructure management, and technical problem-solving while contributing to business continuity and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the installation, configuration, and maintenance of systems, applications, and infrastructure components.
• Monitor system performance and assist in identifying and resolving technical issues in a timely manner.
• Troubleshoot basic hardware, software, and network-related problems under guidance from senior team members.
• Assist with user account management, access control, and routine system administration tasks.
• Document system changes, support activities, and troubleshooting steps accurately for internal reference.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth technology operations and service delivery.
• Follow established security, compliance, and operational procedures to maintain system integrity.

Required Qualifications

• 0–1 years of experience in system support, IT operations, technical support, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of operating systems, networking fundamentals, and system troubleshooting.
• Strong general technical skills with the ability to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies quickly.
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills to work with team members and end users.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline preferred.

Nice to Have

• Exposure to cloud platforms, virtualization, or remote system administration tools.
• Basic scripting knowledge, such as Bash, PowerShell, or Python.
• Familiarity with ticketing systems, monitoring tools, or IT service management processes.
• Internship, academic project, or lab experience in system administration or technical support.
