The Role

As an SDE 2 at BDA Tech, you will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of high-quality software solutions that support business goals and deliver strong user experiences. This remote role is ideal for an engineer who is eager to take ownership, solve real-world problems, and collaborate across teams to build impactful products.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable software applications and services.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate product requirements into technical solutions.
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards.
Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues to ensure application reliability and performance.
Participate in code reviews to improve code quality and share technical knowledge with the team.
Contribute to system improvements, feature enhancements, and technical optimization efforts.
Work closely with senior engineers and stakeholders to deliver projects on time and with high quality.

Required Qualifications

1 to 2 years of professional software development experience in a product or engineering environment.
Strong proficiency in general software engineering concepts, including object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, and debugging.
Experience working with modern development tools and workflows, such as version control, testing, and collaborative code review processes.
Ability to write clean, maintainable, and scalable code with attention to detail and performance.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills with the ability to work effectively in a remote setting.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to Have

Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing practices.
Experience working with APIs, databases, or microservices-based architectures.
Knowledge of modern frontend or backend frameworks used in software product development.
